Abstract:
To enable grasping the amount of brush wear in a motor device.SOLUTION: A motor device 10 is provided with: a rotor 3 rotating integrally with a shaft 1; a brush 5 having a slide-contact surface 5a slide-contacting with the rotor 3; a spring member 6 biasing the brush 5 toward the rotor 3 with a biasing force corresponding to the contraction amount with respect to a natural length; and a fixed wall 7b disposed sandwiching the spring member 6 between itself and the brush 5. The fixed wall 7b has a fixed distance from the slide-contact surface 5a, and receives the biasing force from the spring member 6. The motor device 10 is further provided with: measuring means 8 for measuring a magnitude of the biasing force which the fixed wall 7b receives; and control means for estimating a wear amount of the brush 5 on the basis of the magnitude of the biasing force measured by the measuring means 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
