To provide a motor apparatus capable of allowing a ground terminal to contact the inner surface of a gear housing, while assuring sealing performance of the gear housing.
A wiper motor 10 comprises a yoke housing 20 in which an armature 22 is housed rotatably; a gear housing 52 for housing a worm wheel 58 and a worm 56 to be rotated by the armature 22; a brush holder 30 which holds brushes 32 and 33 to supply power to the armature 22, sandwiched between the yoke housing 20 and the gear housing 52; a contact plate 50 which is connected to the internal wiring of the brush holder 30, while being slidably contacted to a movable conductive plate 68 of the worm wheel 58; and a ground terminal member 120 which together with the contact plate 50, elastically contacts a hole wall 55A of a communication hole 55, in which the contact plate 50 is inserted, at the gear housing 52 connected to the internal wiring.
