To provide a motor drive circuit wherein the occurrence of short circuit can be prevented even when multiple operations are simultaneously performed with a combination switch.
The motor drive circuit includes a switch unit 50 constructed of a first change-over switch 60, a second change-over switch 70, and a first opening/closing switch 80, in which switch unit change-over is simultaneously carried out, and a second opening/closing switch 90. The circuit is so constructed that the following operation is performed: when the switch unit 50 and the second opening/closing switch 90 are inactive, a motor 40 is stopped; when the switch unit 50 is changed over, the motor 40 is rotated in one direction; and when the second opening/closing switch 90 is changed over, the motor 40 is rotated in the other direction. When multiple operations are simultaneously performed with a combination switch 20, a higher priority is given to circuitry for either rotation in one direction or rotation in the other direction.
