Abstract:

To provide a motor drive circuit that allows preventing the short-circuit of a battery when the battery is reverse-connected, does not generate an unnecessary voltage drop, and allows regenerating energy of a motor to the battery.

A main control circuit 11 for motor drive includes: a Pch-type FET T11 provided in series to a diode D1, having a source S connected to a secondary-side contact point MC2 of a main contact MC, and having a drain D connected to an anode A of the diode D1; and a gate-voltage generating circuit 12 for the Pch-type FET T11 including a first resistor R11 having one end R11a connected to the source S of the Pch-type FET T11 and having the other end R11b connected to a gate G of the Pch-type FET T11, and a second resistor R12 having one end R12a connected to the gate G of the Pch-type FET T11 and having the other end R12b connected to a battery-negative-side line L2.
