Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor drive control device capable of quickly activating a motor.SOLUTION: A motor drive control device 1 comprises: a motor drive part 9 that energizes a coil; a control circuit part 3 that controls an operation of the motor drive part 9; and a position detector 5 that outputs a position signal whose phase is changed correspondingly to a position of a rotor of the motor 10. The control circuit part 3 executes, when starting activation of the motor 10, first control of short-circuiting and braking the motor 10 and second control. In the second control, a coil of a predetermined energization phase is energized at a first current value to lock the rotor after the first control is performed. The control circuit part 3 performs, when executing the first control, the short-circuiting and braking from when the short-circuiting and braking of the motor 10 is started to when a predetermined mode change of the phase of the position signal is not detected over a setting time period T1a, or from when short-circuiting and braking of the motor 10 is started to when a time-out time period T2 longer than the setting time period T1a has elapsed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
