Abstract:
To realize a motor drive device in small size at low cost, that has a power storage part provided for reducing a power peak of an AC power supply; and to provide a motor drive system thereof.SOLUTION: A motor drive device 1 comprises a power conversion part 11 for selectively executing a converter operation of outputting by converting an input AC power into a DC power, and an inverter operation of outputting by converting an input DC power into an AC power for a motor drive; a power storage part 12 for storing the DC power output from the power conversion part 11, and supplying the DC power to the power conversion part 11; a switching part 13 for switching a connection destination of the power conversion part 11 between an AC power supply 2 and a motor 3; and a control part 14 for executing the converter operation by controlling the switching part 13, connecting the power conversion part 11 to the AC power supply 2, and controlling the power conversion part 11 to store the power storage part 12 and for executing the inverter operation by controlling the switching part 13, connecting the power conversion part 11 to the motor 3, and controlling the power conversion part 11 to drive the motor 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
