To provide a motor drive device which has at least one motor drive unit for driving and controlling a predetermined number of motors and can suppress resonance of the device even if vibration is applied to the device when the motor drive units are connected with each other.
A motor drive device 1 has at least one motor drive unit 2 for driving and controlling a predetermined number of motors. The motor drive unit 2 has: a circuit board on which a circuit for driving and controlling the motor is mounted; a board fixing member 5 to which the circuit board is fixed; a device fixing member 7 to which the board fixing member 5 is fixed and which fixes the motor drive device 1 to a host device of the motor drive device 1; and a cover member 6 which covers a part of the board fixing member 5 and the circuit board. In the device fixing member 7, a planar unit connection surface 7d which connects one motor drive unit 2 with another motor drive unit 2 is formed.
