Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor capable of previously detecting a temperature rise in a terminal part before falling into severe abnormality, contributing to ensuring safety by suppressing a motor drive current, and attaining compactification, and a motor drive device.SOLUTION: A motor is a three-phase motor for travel drive of an automobile and comprises a terminal block 11 that is provided in a motor housing 3. The terminal block 11 includes: a terminal block base that is fixed to a housing body 7; and terminals of phases which are provided in the terminal block base and to which a power line outside of the motor is connected. A temperature sensor 21 is attached between the terminals of the phases in the terminal block base. Heat of the terminals is successively conducted through the terminal block base and a heat exchanger plate to the temperature sensor 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
