Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce vibration when a motor stops.SOLUTION: A motor drive device comprises a computing unit for controlling a switching element of an inverter circuit which converts DC power into AC power and drives a compressor motor having a rotor and a coil. The computing unit includes: a rotational frequency command generation section for generating a rotational frequency command value; a real rotational frequency calculation section for detecting a real rotational frequency of the rotor; and a motor load determination section for determining a size of a load of the motor. When a stop command of the motor is detected, timing for stopping drive of the inverter circuit is varied in accordance with a determination result of the motor load determination section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
