Abstract:
To prevent carbon powder from being accumulated in a contact part between a brush and a rotor in a DC motor with brush.
In the motor drive giving a driving signal to drive a DC motor with brush, a signal S, which causes the DC motor with brush to perform a wobbling operation for preventing carbon powder from being accumulated between the brush and a rectifier in the DC motor with brush, is superposed on the driving signal D. When the DC motor with brush is a thread motor 11 in an optical disk device, a signal causing the motor to perform the wobbling operation does not give trouble to a tracking servo in optical pickup of the optical disk device.
