To provide a motor drive system in which each of a plurality of motors can efficiently operate even with a simple system configuration.SOLUTION: A motor drive system 1 is provided with: a first motor drive controller 50a; a second motor drive controller 50b; a control part 2a; and a switch part 6 which can switch a valid state and an invalid state for a first communication line 4a, a second communication line 4b which connect a common terminal 2b of the control part 2a with the first motor drive controller 50a, the second motor drive controller 50b, respectively. The control part 2a controls the switch part 6 so as to make the first communication line 4a into the valid state, to make the second communication line 4b into the invalid state in the case of communicating with the first motor drive controller 50a, to make the second communication line 4b into the valid state, and to make the first communication line 4a into the invalid state in the case of communicating with the second motor drive controller 50b, respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
