Abstract:
To perform a fault determination based on current flowing through a driver supplying/blocking exciting current to an exciting coil of a stepping motor.SOLUTION: When drive control signals EV_1, EV_2, EV_3, and EV_4 perform a control of blocking a supply of exciting current I1, I2, I3, and I4 in all of exiting coils 31, 32, 33, and 34 of a stepping motor 3 to a driver 2, and a current value of driver current Id is larger than a positive threshold, it is determined that the driver 2 has a fault.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
