This fluid machine, in which fluid to be handled or fluid to be carried exists at an outer circumferential part of a motor stator, is provided with a motor frame 32 enclosing the outer circumferential part of the motor stator 31, a pump part 10 provided at one end of a motor shaft 16, a first cover 3 provided on the other end side of the motor shaft 16 to support a bearing 34, a frequency converter 36 provided on the counter-bearing side of the first cover 3, and a second cover 37 to contain the frequency converter 36 to the first cover 3.
