Abstract:
To provide a motor drive that reduces the number of components.
In a motor drive 10, a direct current voltage from a direct current power supply is applied to one electrode on a motor M, and the other electrode on the motor M is grounded via a switching transistor 22. The motor drive 10 drives the motor M by turning on/off the switching transistor 22 with a PWM signal, and controls its rotation speed. A common mode cancellation circuit 30 is provided that detects a voltage change in the switching transistor 22 to suppress a common mode current flowing through the motor M by subtracting the voltage depending on the detected voltage change from voltages of both poles Ma and Mb on the motor M.
