Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a false current control from being applied in a drive, which has the function of starting at high torque, applying braking when approaching a target position, and controlling energization.
SOLUTION: A microcomputer outputs a drive command signal for starting a motor and applying a brake to a drive circuit, so as to control the position of a throttle valve to a desired one. Current running through the motor at starting of the motor and applying braking is controlled so as not to exceed a first current control value and is controlled so as not to exceed a second current control value, when current control is continued for a prescribed time. The microcomputer detects switching of the energizing direction of the motor in steps 108, 109, 110 and outputs a reset command signal in a step 111, when the energizing direction is switched, thereby resetting timer operation for current-limiting continuance determination.
