Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven compression device which keeps the whole magnetic characteristics of a synchronous motor approximately uniform.SOLUTION: A partition wall part 26 partitioning a first casing 12 into a motor chamber 30 and a circuit chamber 28 has a first guide portion 46 and a second guide portion 48 integrally provided on the side end face of the motor camber 30. In the inner wall of the first casing 12, refrigerant distribution grooves 58a-58i are formed extending along the longitudinal direction. Refrigerant is introduced through a refrigerant introduction port 18 into the motor chamber 30, and then put into contact with the outer peripheral wall of a bearing part 44 to branch into a first split flow S1 and a second split flow S2. The first guide portion 46 guides the first split flow S1 into a refrigerant intake port 134a, while the second guide portion 48 guides the second split flow S2 into a refrigerant intake port 134b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
