Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a pump from being locked when a pump cover bites pressed-in chips therein.
CONSTITUTION: A motor portion and a pump portion are incorporated into a housing 1 and a pump cover 2 is fitted into the housing 1 to divide the motor portion from the pump portion, and a pressed-in portion 2d to be pressed in against the inner peripheral surface of the housing 1 is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the pump cover 2. A chip storage portion 2c in the form of a recessed groove adjoining to the rear part of the pressed-in portion 2d is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the pump cover 2.
