The pump device comprises one motor 2 disposed in the center, two hydraulic pumps 1 and 3 that sandwich one motor 2 and are disposed on both sides of it and are rotated by power from the motor 2. A leaking hydraulic fluid discharging means 5 in a joint part between the lower one 1 of two hydraulic pumps and the motor 2 discharges the leaking hydraulic fluid to the outside of the lower hydraulic pump 1 when the hydraulic fluid leaking from the upper hydraulic pump 3 side flows to the lower hydraulic pump 1 side through the motor 2, and the means 5 also comprises a hydraulic fluid discharging passage 52 disposed on the motor 2 side, an oil sump part 51 disposed in a housing 15 of the lower hydraulic pump 1, and a discharging port 55 disposed in the wall surface of the oil sump part 51.
