An electric motor 2 is fitted to a flange 1b provided on one end side of a cylindrical part 1a of a casing 1 parallel to the cylindrical part 1a, the rotation of a rotor shaft 2a of the electric motor 2 is transmitted to the rotating shaft 4 of the linear-motion actuator disposed at the center of the cylindrical part 1a by gears 3a, 3b, 3c, and a lubricant applicator member 8 for applying a lubricant is provided in sliding contact with the outside diameter surface of each planetary roller 7 interposed between the outside diameter surface of the rotating shaft 4 and the inside diameter surface of the outer ring member 5, whereby the whole axial length can be shortened, and the insufficiency of lubrication between the rolling contact planetary roller 7 and the rotating shaft 4 and the outer ring member 5 can be eliminated.
