Title:
MOTOR-DRIVEN POWER STEERING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3899202
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep accurate detection by fixing a core to an outer peripheral surface of any one of an input shaft and an output shaft, fixing a differential coil on an outer peripheral surface of the other, and fixing a primary coil to an inner peripheral surface of a casing while fixing a secondary coil connected to the differential coil to the outer peripheral surface of the other.
SOLUTION: A spacer 18 is fixed to a rear end side outer peripheral surface of an output shaft 2, and a core 15 is placed on the spacer 18. A differential coil 16 is placed on a fore end side outer peripheral surface of an input shaft 4 through a spacer 19. A pair of secondary coils 21a, 21b are fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the input shaft 4 while a pair of primary coils 20a, 20b are fixed to an inner peripheral surface of a casing 1 so as to surround the coils 21a, 21b. Change of relative positions of the core 15 and the differential coil 16 is transmitted to an external controller as electric signals via the coils 20a, 20b, 21a, 21b. With the constitution, the core 15 and the coil 16 change their relative positions in a non-contact state, resulting in that accuracy of detection can be maintained.
