Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a motor-driven propulsion device for a ship for avoiding damage to component parts, and for enhancing the battery utilization efficiency and performance.
CONSTITUTION: An ECU 8, a PWM control circuit 15, and an electric motor 13 are interposed to come in contact with the inner surface of the flat part on a ship's bottom 38 at the lower side than a draft line A. The ECU 8, the PWM control circuit 15, and the electric motor 13 are provided with water cooling jackets 32, 33, 34. A cooling water intake 35 and an exhaust port 37 are formed at the lower side than the draft line A.
