A motor driven pump 1 is equipped with a pump housing 7 having a suction chamber and a delivery chamber which are sectioned by the engagement of a driving gear 5 and a driven gear, and a first communicating hole 91 communicated with an delivery opening 75 and a second communicating hole 92 extended in parallel with the first communicating hole 91, are formed in one housing supporting body 9 out of two housing supporting bodies 8, 9 by which the pump housing 7 is supported from both sides. Also, a fitted part 93 to which a fitting fixed part 23 is threadably attached, is arranged in the opening end side inner circumference of the cylindrical wall part 9b of the second housing supporting body 9, and a bottomed noise damper cylinder 20 which is communicated with the delivery chamber through the communicating hole 91 and the delivery opening 75 and has a dead chamber 20a whose capacity is large than the delivery chamber, is attachably/detachable threadably attached to this fitted part 93.
