Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce a motor-driven three wheeled vehicle in size and in weight to improve the functional beauty by storing a travelling motor at least in one wheel out of two, right and left wheels.
CONSTITUTION: A left side rear wheel 4 is provided with a travelling motor 50 in a wheel 61. The left side rear wheel 4 consists of the travelling motor 50 fixed with bolts on a flange 17a at the end of a rear frame 17, the wheel 61 fixed on the output shaft 55 of the travelling motor 50, and a tire 62 loaded on the outside peripheral surface of the wheel 61. The rear frame 17, the travelling motor 50, and the wheel 61 are arranged on a coaxial line. Since a motor- driven three wheeled vehicle houses the travelling motor at least one wheel out of two, right and left wheels, the travelling motor is not exposed to the outside, thus dispensing with the space for installing the motor.
