PURPOSE: To constitute the motor-driven toothbrush so that it can be carried compactly and sanitarily by constituting it of a first housing which contains a toothbrush driving mechanism, a second housing which contains a power source part, and a toothbrush body connected to the driving mechanism so as to be freely attachable and detachable, connecting both the housings so as to be freely bendable and turnable, and providing a toothbrush body containing part on the joint surface at the time of bending.

CONSTITUTION: The toothbrush consists of a housing 1 which contains a toothbrush driving mechanism, a housing 2 which contains a battery power source, and a toothbrush body 3 connected to a driving shaft 10 protruded from one end face of the housing so as to be freely attachable and detachable, and both the housings l, 2 are connected so as to be freely bendable and turnable by fitting a bearing part 11 provided on the lower end edge of the housing 1 into a shaft part 21 protruded from both side faces of the upper end edge of the housing 2. Also, on the joint surfaces opposed to each other at the time when both the housings 1, 2 are bent and folded, containing recessed parts 12, 22 for containing the toothbrush body 3, a switch 13, and a recessed part 23 into which a projecting part of the switch 13 is fitted are formed.
