Title:
MOTOR-DRIVEN TOOTHBRUSH
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05207913
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To decrease the number of parts, and to simplify the structure by constituting the toothbrush so that, when a slide control is subjected to slide movement in one or the other direction of the axial direction, a switching part provided in a rotary member allows a movable armature of a first or a second switch to come into contact with a fixed armature, so that driving of a motor is switched by switching of these contacts.

CONSTITUTION: When a slide control 21 is subjected to slide movement to a bus position, a joint cam 70 rotates counterclockwise, by which a rotary plate 63 also rotates counterclockwise and movable armatures 61a, 62a come into contact with fixed armatures 61c, 62b. By this contact, a motor rotates forward, and a toothbrush 22 executes greatly a reciprocating motion. When the slide control 21 is subjected to slide movement to a scrub position, the joint cam 70 rotates clockwise, by which the rotary plate 63 rotates, and the movable armatures 61a, 62a come into contact with fixed armatures 61b, 62c. By this contact, the motor rotates backward, and the toothbrush 22 executes small a reciprocating motion. In such a way, the number of parts is decreased, and the structure can be simplified.
