Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent current leakage from the driving side to the stopping side by juxtaposing two sets of bridge circuits between a power supply and a motor and rotary driving the motor through any one bridge circuit to close one of two switches connected between respective bridge circuits and the motor and to open the other switch.
SOLUTION: The motor driver A16a normally supplies power from a motor drive power supply 22 to a bridge circuit A19a through a switch PSW 1 (close) and supplies a PWM control motor drive signal M0 through switches FSW 1 (close), FSW 2 (close) thus driving a motor 10. Upon failure, power is supplied from the motor drive power supply 22 to a bridge circuit B19b through a switch PSW 2 (close) and a PWM control motor drive signal M0 is supplied through switches FSW 3 (close), FSW 4 (close) thus driving the motor 10. Current from the motor drive power supply 22 does not leak normally to a motor driver B16b.
