Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor drive device capable of highly efficiently driving a motor.SOLUTION: A motor drive device 1 comprises: a first inverter 11 that applies an AC voltage to a plurality of windings of a motor M having a stator winding 4 in which the plurality of windings are serially connected in each phase; a second inverter 12 that applies the AC voltage to a part of the plurality of windings; and control means 13 that controls the first inverter 11 and the second inverter 12. The control means 13 controls a weaker field current of the motor M by the first inverter 11, and controls a torque current of the motor M by the second inverter 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
