Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and inexpensive motor driving apparatus capable of preventing generation of brush noise in a commutator motor.SOLUTION: A motor driving apparatus determines timing ta of generation of brush noise by detecting a motor current Im of a commutator motor 30, defines lapse of predetermined time Tb from the timing ta as a period (ta to tb) in which brush noise may be generated and a motor current Im is cut off during the period. The predetermined time Tb is previously set on the basis of experiments, simulation or the like correspondingly to the standards and rotational frequency of the commutator motor 30. Since the motor current Im is cut off during the period in which brush noise may be generated, generation of brush noise can be prevented.
