To reduce the deterioration of response characteristics in the feedback control of an inverter circuit 14 caused by a dead zone, by setting a dead time, which is provided for prevention of the short circuit of switching elements S1-S6 in an inverter circuit 14, thereby solving the problem in the prior art that a dead zone, where a current is not output from the inverter circuit even if a current command is ordered, arises.
A motor driving circuit 2 includes: a voltage converting circuit 13, which converts the input voltage from a battery 11 into the target voltage; an inverter circuit 14, which converts the power output from the voltage converting circuit 13 into AC by a plurality of switching elements S1-S6 and outputs a current according to a current command to a motor; and a control circuit 15, which sets the ON time and the OFF time of the switching elements S1-S6. The control circuit 15 changes the target voltage, according to the rate of the dead time to the ON time.
