Abstract:
To provide a motor driving device and a rotation detection method of the motor driving device that can appropriately determine whether or not a motor rotates normally on the basis of an induction voltage induced by an induction current regardless of the fluctuation of the induction current generated by the motor.SOLUTION: A motor driving device comprises: a driving current generation circuit 201 for generating a driving current and for supplying the driving current to a motor 10 intermittently through drive lines L1 and L2; and a rotation detection circuit 203 that detects whether or not the voltage of the drive lines become a negative voltage after the supply of the driving current to the motor is stopped, and determines that the rotor of the motor rotates at a prescribed angle when the negative voltage is detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
