Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor drive device including a heat sink for cutting fluid drip measures capable of reducing adhesion of a water droplet to an electronic component, by controlling a drip position of the water droplet, when cutting fluid mist etc. infiltrating into the motor drive device adheres to the heat sink installed in the motor drive device and becomes a water droplet, by inclining an end of the heat sink with respect to a horizontal plane.SOLUTION: An end of a heat sink 12 for cooling a power element 6 mounted on a printed circuit board 7 is inclined with respect to a horizontal plane. Consequently, water droplets of cutting fluid or the like, scraped by a fan motor 4 and adhering to the heat sink 12, are dropped to a housing side face of a housing component 1, so as not to drop from the heat sink 12 onto electronic components 8, 9, 10, and 11 mounted on a ground surface side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
