A motor for an electric power steering device is equipped with a tubular yoke 4, a shaft 7 provided rotatably on the axis within this yoke 4, an armature 8 fixed to this shaft 7, a second bearing 15 provided at one end of the shaft 7 on the side where it transmits torque to a handle, and a first bearing 31 provided at the other end of the shaft 7 and also stored within the bearing storage 29 of the yoke 4, and the groove of the outer ring of the first bearing 31 is provided with a ring 36 for preventing collision, securing the space between the outer ring and the bearing storage 29.
