To provide a motor which can improve drive power and reduce cogging torque.
A motor comprises: a stator 3 in which a plurality of magnetic poles are arranged in a circumferential direction; and a rotor 4 which is rotatably arranged opposite to the stator 3 and on the peripheral surface of which a plurality of magnets are arranged. The stator 3 formed by laminating a plurality of tabular bodies has extension parts 3d, 3da, and 3db formed by respectively bending the tabular bodies at least including an outermost layer in an axial direction, and the extension parts 3d, 3da, and 3db respectively have different shapes. The cogging torque occurred at a magnetic pole stem of the stator 3 and the cogging torque occurred at one extension part 3da are negated by adjusting the cogging torque occurred at another extension part 3db so that the cogging torque of the entire motor 2 can be reduced.
