Title:
MOTOR EQUIPMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04312391
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a motor equipment capable of starting easily and certainly in the predetermined direction without utilizing a position detector such as Hall element capable of detecting the position of a magnetic pole of a rotor magnet even in the state of rotor stop.

CONSTITUTION: When a current is applied only to a U coil 18 in the state of (a) non energizing, an N pole appears. By continuously applying a current, a rotor 10 turns counterclockwise by 20 degrees approximately, and state of (b) is confirmed when the reversal of the polarity of the counter-electromotive force of V-phase coil 20 is detected. When current application to U-phase coil 18 is discontinued, the rotor 10 tries to turn by 20 degrees clockwise. When a current is applied to the V-phase coil 20 and no current is applied to the U coil 18, the N-pole appears at the V-phase coil so that the rotor 10 begins to rotate clockwise.
