PURPOSE: To reduce leaked flow while to reduce the fluid loss due to collision against main air flow, the noise caused through vortex or peeling and to improve the efficiency by employing approximately same shape for the upper section at the suction side of fan blade and the suction side of fan cover.
CONSTITUTION: An inducing section 20c is formed at the suction port 28a side of fan cover 28 of inducing section 20b projected further than the suction port 28a of fan cover 28 along the suction wall 28b of suction port 28a to be 0.002D1W 0.1D1 against the inner diameter at the inlet of fan 17. Consequently, the gap between the suction side of front fan plate 18 and the front fan plate 18 side of fan cover 28 can be narrowed to reduce the leaked flow E thus to take in main air flow D sufficiently to the inside of fan 17. As a result, the leaked flow E is reduced while the fluid loss due to collision against main air flow D or noise due to vortex or peeling can be reduced.
