Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance reliability and a lifetime with a low cost by providing an oil pool formed on an outer periphery of a sleeve in communication with a ventilating slot to hold oil.
SOLUTION: Excess part of oil 14 in a bearing can be stored in an oil pool 6a on an outer periphery of a sleeve 6 via a ventilating slot 1b to be able to increase an oil pouring amount and to alleviate an unevenness allowed amount, thereby improving an oil pouring operability and suppressing a manufacturing cost. Since the pool 6a can store excess oil, an inner periphery of the sleeve 6 can be formed in an axially straight shape except a dynamic pressure generating slot 13. Accordingly, the inner periphery of the sleeve can be easily machined by a reamer or the like. Even if the sleeve 6 is a small diameter of 2 mm or less, the bearing can be easily machined, and hence its manufacturing cost can be suppressed, and the bearing and the motor can be reduced in size.
