Title:
MOTOR INTEGRATED WITH INVERTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3204916
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor integrated with an inverter, which can be downsized as a whole and cools the inverter efficiently.
SOLUTION: An inverter 14 is stored inside a motor mounting base 13 on which a motor body 12 is placed on the top plane 13a. When the motor is operated, switching elements and diodes generate heat and the heat generated accordingly on the inverter 14 is radiated from the entire body of the motor mounting base 13 and also conducted to a base plate 19 through its bottom surface part 13b and dissipated. This structure makes the conventional radiating fin unnecessary, which enables the motor to become small-sized and makes it possible to cool the inverter 14 efficiently.
