To achieve sharp downsizing by molding a motor iron core integrally out of permeable insulating material.
The rotor 4 of a motor 1 comprises a roughly cylindrical iron core 4 which has a plurality of slots, winding 4 which is wound and stored in the slots, an output shaft 3 which is fixed in the axial direction of the iron core 4, and a commutator 7 where the end of the winding 2 fixed to the output shaft 3 is electrically connected. The rotor 8 is covered rotatably with a yoke 9 which is in the shape of a bottomed hollow cylinder and to the inside periphery of which a plurality of permanent magnets are fixed. A bracket is installed at the opening end of the yoke 9 serving as a case thereby blocking it. The motor 1 is equipped with a brush holder 12 inside the bracket 10, and by the thrush 4 accommodated in the brush holder, it slides on a commutator 7. The iron core 4 is molded integrally of permeable insulating material. Hereby, a resin part within the slot forms a magnetic path, so the width of teeth can be made small, and since the quantity of winding 2 can be increased, the length of the iron core 4 can be shortened, and it can be made into a small-sized and light motor.
