Title:
MOTOR OPERATED INJECTION NEEDLE DETACHING APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6486980
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve safety of operations for removal of an injection needle by detaching an injection needle inserted through a hole perforated in a box with a motor which rotates according to a detector and discarding it into a trash box set in the lower part of the box.

CONSTITUTION: When an injection needle 40 is inserted into a box 1 through a hole 11, a detector means 27 detects it and a motor 21 begins to rotate. This rotation is conducted to an external plate 27. A terminal part 30 of a grip member 23 moves from a trapezoid notch (a) through (b) to (c) while keeping contact with the inner circumference. On the other hand, resistance is imported to the grip member 23 and an inner plate 24 so as to prevent the induced rotation. When the terminal 30 moves to (c), a needle base 41 is griped by a terminal 31. Following this, the inner plate 24 also begins to rotate and the injection needle 40 is detached from a syringe 42. Motion of the motor 21 is stopped by use of a timer or by an operator after syringe 42 is confirmed to be extracted from the hole 11. This constitution provides safe operations of detaching an injection needle without giving any injury to fingers.
