To provide a motor-operated valve that prevents displacement or inclination of a valve element with respect to a valve seat portion in a valve chamber forming member of a press-molded article and that does not cause uneven abrasion of the valve seat portion, leakage from the valve in a closed state, undesirable valve vibration, abnormal noise, fluctuation in flow rate or increase in sliding resistance.
The motor-operated valve includes a can 40, a rotor 30 located at an inner periphery of the can 40, a valve shaft 60 connected and secured to the rotor 30, the valve element 61 provided at the lower end of the valve shaft 60, a guide stem 80 arranged in the can 40 so as to guide vertical movement of the valve shaft 60 and the valve element 61, the valve chamber forming member 74 of the press-molded article for forming a valve chamber 71 into/from which fluid is introduced/discharged, a valve main body 70 having a valve seat member 72 of an article formed by cutting and provided with the valve seat portion 72b with or from which the valve element 61 makes contact or separates, and a screw feed mechanism 16 for abutting/separating the valve element 61 on/from the valve seat portion 72b when the rotor 30 rotates. A guide portion 73 for guiding the vertical movement of the valve element 61 is formed integrally with the valve seat member 72 by cutting operation.
