To provide a motor-operated valve capable of preventing the generation of noise even when a refrigerant is filled inside an inflow pipe and an outflow pipe connected to a valve chamber and a differential pressure between inflow piping and outflow piping is low.
The motor-operated valve includes a stem 6 to be moved straight by the rotation of a rotor of an electric motor, and a valve element 5 integrated with the stem by the press-fitting of the stem, and controls a valve opening of the valve element with respect to the valve seat 4. The valve element includes: a recessed part 5a for press-fitting the stem at an upper part; a first hole part 5b communicated with the recessed part and extended in the vertical direction; a second hole part 5c communicated with the first hole part, opened to a lower surface 5d and having a diameter larger than that of the first hole part; and an inverse truncated conical part 5g whose outer diameter is continuously and gradually increased upwards from the lower surface. The depth of the second hole part is ≤5.0 mm, and a distance between an outer peripheral edge part 5e of the lower surface and an opening edge part 5f of the second hole part is ≥0.7 mm.
