Abstract:

To enable cooling of a motor with fluid and lubricating of a sliding portion, while directly discharging of the fluid containing no motor foreign substances from the pump into the pump outside.

A fuel pump 1 is integrally provided with the pump 3 to suck and pressurize fuel into the pump 11, and the motor 2 rotatably installed in the motor chamber 10 for an armature 14 to drive the pump 3. A discharge port 45 to directly discharge fuel sucked and pressurized into the pump 3, and a communicating port 48 to flow out part of fuel from the pump 3 into the motor chamber 10 are installed. The fuel discharged from the pump chamber 11 is discharged from the discharge port 45 without via the motor chamber 10. A part of the fuel is flowed out from the pump 3 into the motor chamber 10 through the communicating port 48, and discharged from a second discharge port 30 through the motor chamber 10.
