Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a pump group which comprises a plurality of metal plate centrifugal pumps having the same nominal diameter, which does not require enlarged outer diameters of impellers even in a high lift area, and then suppresses an outer diameter of a pump casing within a comparatively small range.
CONSTITUTION: A motor pump group comprises a plurality of centrifugal pumps having the same nominal diameter, which pumps have impellers of outer diameters DI1, DI2, DI3 sequentially enlarged, and are increased in their lifts in a stepped manner. In such a motor pump group, the lift area is divided into a high lift area and a low lift area. The low lift area corresponds to a single- stage impeller, while the high lift area corresponds to a multi-stage impeller.
