This motor pump unit is provided with at least two internal gear pumps respectively including a small gear, a ring gear eccentrically facing that, and a small gear shaft fixed to a side plate. The small gears of the two pumps are of the same structure, and their pump axial lines are disposed in a line. An electric motor is provided to a least one of the two pumps as a pair of adjoining pumps. A rotor of the electric motor has a U-shaped axial direction cross sectional area to concentrically enclose the pump provided to itself. U-shaped perpendicular parts are provided with inner engagement parts in a range of a rotation axis. Inner engagement parts of the perpendicular parts are engaged with two small gears.
