Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a stroke quantity, a seat height, and a storage box capacity of a reaction unit by making an entire unit swing type adopting a 4-cycle engine compact.
SOLUTION: A storage box 8 is installed in a rear body 7 below a seat 5. The storage box 8 is shaped in a manner that a box bottom is approximately parallel to a ground face and the bottom of the storage box 8 above a carburetor 26, while a position of a pivot 16 is beyond a space between a shallow bottom part of the storage box 8 and a unit swing type 4-cycle engine. An air cleaner case 28 is longitudinally arranged above the swing case 14 and on the side of a rear wheel 2, and a carburetor 21 is connected with a top face of a cylinder head 12 via an intake passage at a position higher than an ignition plug arranged on the side of the cylinder head 12. A venturi of the carburetor 26 is positioned on a wheel width of the rear wheel 2 linearly extending towards a front wheel side, seen in a plane view of the vehicle.
