The motor starter according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a circuit breaker state input part 220 in which a state of a circuit breaker for motor protection is inputted, a contactor state input part 210 in which a state of an electromagnetic contactor is inputted, a communication part 240 which is connected to a monitor control panel 300 through a communication cable for data communication, and a control part 250 which, when a control signal is received from the monitor control panel 300, transmits the circuit breaker information received from the circuit breaker state input part 220 and the contactor information received from the contactor state input part 210 to the monitor control panel 300, and controls the electromagnetic contactor on the basis of the control signal and the contactor information.
