Abstract:
To provide a motor with a brush capable of detecting a sign of power supply failure due to wear of a power supply brush.SOLUTION: A motor 1 with a brush includes: a terminal 3 fixed to a housing 2; a power supply brush 6 that is held movably relative to the housing 2 and brought into pressure contact with a commutator segment 5; two pig tails 9, 10 of a different length for connecting the terminal 3 and the power supply brush 6; and a detection unit 11 capable of detecting electric resistance from the terminal 3 to the commutator segment 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
