PURPOSE: To provide a motor equipped with a rotation detecting means for detecting current position of window glass positively.
CONSTITUTION: The motor 1 equipped with rotation detecting means comprises a magnetic plate 8 fixed onto a concentric circle of an output shaft with magnetized parts 8b, 8c having opposite polarities being arranged alternately at a plurality of points on a circle. Hall elements 11, each generating a pulse signal proportional to the r.p.m. of an output shaft 9 from the Hall voltage induced by the magnetic force of the magnetic plate 8, are arranged at a plurality of points on the magnetic plate 8 without contacting therewith. When the r.p.m. of the magnetic plate 8 is delivered in the form of pulse signal to a controller connected with external wiring 18-21, the controller can detects the position and the speed of window glass.
