To achieve miniaturization and compactification of a motor with a speed reducer, which reduces the rotation of an electric motor by means of the speed reducer and outputs the reduced rotation.
A speed reduction mechanism configured to reduce the rotation of a rotation shaft 13 of an electric motor A and output the reduced rotation is a speed reducer B. The speed reducer B is configured by: a housing 1; an inner gear 21 supported by an inner diameter surface of the housing 1; an eccentric circular plate 23 receiving the rotation of the rotation shaft 13 of the electric motor A and being rotatable in the inner gear 21; an output shaft 25 arranged coaxially with a rotation shaft core of the eccentric circular plate 23 and having at a shaft end part a cage 27 rotatable between the inner gear 21 and the eccentric circular plate 23; and a rolling body 32 held by the cage 27 and engaged with internal teeth 22 of the inner gear 21, and having the number of teeth smaller than that of the internal teeth 22. The eccentric circular plate 23 is provided on the rotation shaft 13 of the electric motor A to achieve compactification of an axial direction length.
