To provide a motor which efficiently prevents a housing from slipping off a terminal in a simple structure.
The motor 1 includes a motor body 2 housing an armature 6 in a rotatable state, the end housing 11 mounted on the motor body 2, and the terminal 13 fitted to the end housing 11. The terminal 13 has a terminal connection 13a connectible to an external terminal 21, an extension 13b extending in a bent form from the terminal connection 13a, a brash contact 13c which is part of the extension 13b that is formed at an opposite end to the terminal connection 13a, and a branch 13d which is part of terminal connection 13a that projects opposite to the side at which the extension 13b is formed and has a front end extending in the direction of fitting the end housing 11. When a force opposite to the direction of fitting acts on the terminal connection 13a, the terminal 13 tilts on part of the extension 13b, causing the branch 13d to come in contact with the wall surface of the end housing 11.
